Mission
Our Mission: Commitment to Diversity in the
Business Community
The Central Pennsylvania Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce
believes that diversity is a goal that can never be considered fully
achieved in the business community. CPGLCC works to support
diversity and assist Central Pennsylvania’s business community in
pursuit of an ideal workplace, marketplace, industry and region.
CPGLCC offers a comprehensive approach to diversity and inclusion
in the business community by focusing on:
- People: Through encouraging workforce diversity
- Consumers: Through supporting appropriate joint marketing
initiatives and other opportunities
- Businesses: Through developing partnerships with and among
general business organizations
- Industry: Through development and support of workforce and
supplier diversity programs
To achieve our vision fully, CPGLCC believes that all
constituencies must be considered and thoughtfully included and
developed.

Committees

Finance |
Oversees the finances of the chamber, creates the budget,
reviews financial reports and the annual audit, and monitors
the budget.

Membership
and Events |
Recruits, maintains and grows the membership of the chamber.
Monitors the development of the membership by assessing and
instituting methods to maintain the existing membership and to
enhance new membership enrollment.
Coordinates networking events which serve as a benefit to the
membership, and allow exposure and attraction for possible new
members.

Marketing |
Develops programs and seeks out activities/events that promote
the chamber as a whole. Provides marketing tools and
consultation to other committees of the chamber that allow
them to more effectively promote the chamber.

Program and
Education |
Offers educational opportunities and programs to the
membership by using a multi-faceted approach in a variety of
settings and levels of detail.
